Christine likes to express her love of the great outdoors in her colourful landscape paintings, gaining her inspiration from both the Yorkshire countryside and travels further afield. She paints both en plein air and in her studio, using colour and texture to express feeling and emotion. She loves nothing more than a bit of moody weather and blustery skies, which we get plenty of in Yorkshire! Christine paints mainly with acrylics and uses bold gestural marks and a vivid palette of colours. Her work varies from semi abstract to more realistic depictions of the landscape.
