My name is Nick Pike. I have lived in Ilkley for the last 32 years. I have been fascinated by wood all my life and am delighted to have the time, space and opportunity to be able to create a wide range of items in various woods.

I enjoy being challenged to create anything out of wood. I make a wide range of products from children’s toys (trains, cars, toddler’s rocking horses, doll’s houses, cots, small person’s table & chairs) to salt & pepper grinders, platters, candle holders, end grain chopping boards, assorted lights, butcher’s trolleys and occasional tables.

I have been commissioned to make Pikler Triangles, Corn Hole Boards (an American game for the garden) a standard lamp for a arts and crafts house and wooden racing cars.

I work in oak, beech, walnut, ash & cherry but love to explore the opportunities and challenges that other woods present
