Rebecca studied art foundation at Northbrook College and Fine Art at the University of Derby. Her work has been stocked in many shops and she has sold her cards and products at Art in the Pen, The Country Living Fair and BCTF, her work is in collections and many places around the world.
“My desire is to connect with the materials, build bonds with the canvas, sit in the sunshine, or that tinkling of rain and fluttering breeze, observe and paint. Mastering my interpretation of colour and materials, understanding my connection to the subject and exploring is my main objective. Observations and humour have encompassed themselves in my old drawings. Now I'm here tantalising ideas with brushstrokes, observing the landscape or celebrating a group of found objects in the form of a still life. I don't adhere to the rigidity of categorisation, I ebb and flow with the flux as the creative passion drives me, quietly acquainting myself with my work.”
She currently works mainly on canvas paintings, personal commissions and selling gifts from her online shop and lalabuds Etsy shop here she also exhibits her paintings and artwork.
