Janet Browne
I am a textile artist based in Addingham. After many years of teaching, drawing and painting I moved to working in fabrics several years ago. I make maps of journeys I am familiar with, as well as townscapes, gardens and allotments in hand dyed cotton with calico, quilters wadding with machine and hand embroidery.I enjoy the textures surfaces and patterns fabric and embroidery allows.
Sarah Jay
I earned a first-class degree in Fine Art from the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff, where I moved away from painting and began exploring paper as a three-dimensional medium. I then completed an MA in Painting at the Royal College of Art, where I started creating room-sized installations using fabric and photography. I have been awarded an Arts Council grant twice, which led to the development of work in various ways; such as the incorporation of laser cutting technology. In 2017, I qualified as an Integrative Psychotherapist.

I then moved to Yorkshire I designed and made reduction fired domestic stoneware for over 25 years, building several gas kilns during this time.
