Sussi Louise Smith
Although now living in Yorkshire, for Danish artist Sussi Louise, Scandinavia forms the foundation of her inspiration. Her paintings draw heavily on its traditions, cultures and contemporary visions of life, love, peoples and places.
Julie Bruce
Up until 2015 I had a full time management career with little time to pursue my love of art. This all changed when I left work and for many years I considered art as my hobby, that was until I completed an 18 month long Contemporary Atelier with Martin Kinnear RCA on oil painting in early 2025. Since then my work has changed dramatically and I now consider myself a serious artist with my work exhibited in numerous exhibitions around Yorkshire.
David Elliott
I am an artist and woodworker based in Ilkley. I create sculptural artworks from wood and natural materials that explore rhythm and texture. My work also includes lanterns, light objects from recycled wood and paper, and furniture.
Alan Eaton
I am now retired from my professional (financial)work life in this country and abroad. My main activity is art but I also do a lot of walking to try to keep me healthy. I am in two art groups and spend time with fellow artists twice a week. I originally learnt to paint in watercolour, but now also use acrylic.
