This relaxed two-hour workshop begins with a short demonstration by Louise Hepworth-Wood, focusing on the importance of composition when creating a simple still life. Using a small arrangement of 3–5 bottles, Louise will demonstrate techniques in watercolour and pen, with reference to the work of Giorgio Morandi.
Participants will then have the opportunity to complete a couple of their own studies on A4 or A3 watercolour paper. The session is informal and supportive, artists are welcome to share ideas and discuss approaches, or to work quietly and independently.
All materials will be provided.
