I am now retired from my professional (financial)work life in this country and abroad. My main activity is art but I also do a lot of walking to try to keep me healthy. I am in two art groups and spend time with fellow artists twice a week. I originally learnt to paint in watercolour, but now also use acrylic. I have also more recently tried some life drawing.The benefit I get from the art groups I am with is to paint with and learn so much from the fellow artists. I am sure I will experience the same benefits from Ilkley Arts.
