Juliet Gutch
Jamie Gutch and I live in Ilkley, West Yorkshire, and have been making mobiles from our studio at home for around twenty years. Whilst our work is collaborative, Jamie works in education, and I lead on the art.
Our projects begin with drawn observation of patterns and forms from the natural world. The sculptural shapes are created by laminating individual, fragile layers of sustainably sourced veneer.

Jo Whitehead
Originally from North West London, I studied at Harrow School of Art. In 1988 I moved to sunny Silsden, teaching art at Keighley College and as a visiting artist in schools.
I acquired an allotment plot 10 years ago and began a one sided "relationship" with the birds that visit the plot. This has led to a fascination for birds - songbirds, moorland birds, tropical birds - the source material is endless.

Nina Wright
As a potter trained in the Japanese & Leach tradition in Stoke on Trent, my work is imbued with ideas of functionality, simplicity & the earthy materiality of clay and glaze.
My intention is that my pots should feel good in your hand, on your lips and to your eye, enhancing everyday routines & tasks, especially in the kitchen.

Marianna Easter
Marianna is an artist who primarily works on “living canvas” aka the face!
She has worked for many years in tv, and on commercial and editorial shoots. Most recently she brings her expertise to local women through teaching makeup skills to empower them to feel and look their best with personalised makeup lessons at her Ilkley studio. This is now the main focus of her work, but equally getting creative and messy with makeup on any part of the body and face by exploring and pushing the boundaries of this medium is always exciting.
